ciao Thomas,

any news about compiling flext with gcc 4.2.1? If I am correct, this is
the latest version provided by Apple Developer Tools.
We really need to exploit some parallel computing for a current project,
and therefore we cannot avoid using things such as SIMD.
If gcc 4.2.1 is not going to be supported, we will try using the
unofficial 4.6 found here: http://hpc.sourceforge.net/
I've been told that version 4.6 works well with MP, Eigen 3
(http://eigen.tuxfamily.org/) and optimizations such as "-O3
-ftree-vectorize".
BTW, do you have any experience with that and flext?

Best,
S
