[flext] Convert from symbol to message

I had a look at the tutorial, and I follow what is write on, but I don't
know why the patch didn't work. In the true what i Needed was to send a
symbol, but the error of the patch carries me out of way. (Sorry for my
English. I hope that I wroite is understandable)
